Vote! Mail deadline is Tomorrow!

If you are registered but haven't received a ballot, contact the County Clerk right away.

If you are Not registered, you can at the Courthouse anytime before polls close on election day, Tuesday, November 4th at 7 PM. You will then be given a 'provisional' ballot.

If you have received your ballot but haven't filled it out yet, here is some information about the RE-1 school board race in Walsenburg. Although the school board is a non-partisan race, local Republicans have had many candidates run and presently control the board. La Veta school board voted to endorse both LL and MM propositions to keep funding lunches for Colorado children. The RE-1 school board wouldn't even second the motion and bring it up for discussion. The other Dems on the school board can use your help. Daniel Moyer worked at CU and is a Democrat. He is also well qualified for the position. Alyssa is a native of the county who has returned to work and live here with her young family. Please vote for these two individuals.

If you plan to mail your ballot you need to do so by this Tuesday, October 28th to make sure it arrives in time. Postmarks do not count.

You can vote in person at the Huerfano County Courthouse. The deadline to do so is Tuesday, Nov. 4th before 7 p.m.

You can simply drop off your ballot in the box located behind the Huerfano County courthouse.

In our democracy, your vote is your voice! It is our right and our duty to do so.
