Senate Candidate with Local Ties Visits Walsenburg

Democratic Senate Candidate, Julie Gonzales, stopped in Walsenburg on Friday, May 22nd, to meet with local citizens.  A large group of people visited with Julie at the Walsenburg Mercantile.  She explained her background, including family ties to Gardner, and her work in the state legislature for working families.  Everyone had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about Julie's plans in the Senate. 

Afterwards, Julie also spent some time with the 'Speak Up Southern Colorado' members outside the courthouse
