Santa Fe Trail Days in Trinidad

 A festive 100 year old tradition that brings women, children, and men from all walks of life to the Corazon de Trinidad in historic downtown, is happening Friday, June 13 through Saturday, June 14.  The  festivities start at 3 p.m. on Friday with Mariachi Diamante playing till 6 p.m.

The Festival features local music, food, carnival games, horseshoes, dance, shootouts, and local clothing, and jewelry vendors.  The Purgatory River Car and Bike Show, Water Slide, Rock Climbing Wall, Mechanical Bull, Trackless Train, Gyroscope Balls, Pedal Cart Course, Games, Crafts, Food Vendors, Light Show and other activities will round out the weekend!

Stop in and visit the Las Animas Democrats at their booth.

They are planning some fun games and CD3 candidate, Alex Kelloff, will be there Saturday evening.

The City is offering a free shuttle to and from designated pick-up locations for the Santa Fe Trail Days festival.The shuttle will run Friday, June 13 from 3 pm to 10 pm and Saturday, June 14 from noon to 10 pm. Call Jared at 719-680-4078 for pick-up from a designated area.
