Now that I have your attention, I want to start by thanking everyone who attended Caucus on Saturday. It was quite a learning experience!
We were just getting the hang of the new "digital" voting when there was a "glitch"
(a technical term for oops!) Everyone persevered and we finished in the old fashioned way with paper ballots and raised hands.
There are still Assembly meetings for State and National offices with our State Assembly in Pueblo on March 28. Our delegates are excited to participate in this grassroots democratic process and we appreciate their willingness to stand up and be part of our elections. Our Primary Election will be in June, so stay tuned.
We will be sending out invitations to events to meet candidates and learn who you want to represent you in our government.
Now, on to Mother Jones. We need some folks to help us out with set up, tear down, collecting silent auction items, managing the silent auction and decorations. Anyone who is willing to volunteer and help with this important (and fun) fundraising event to fill out the form:
