Caucus and Assembly
Democracy In Action
If we don't participate, it ceases to be a democracy
There are plenty of ways for you to make a difference and get involved to help shape the future of our Community, State, and Country.
The Democratic party is preparing for our caucus and assembly to help choose candidates for the upcoming election. There are opportunities to participate by becoming a precinct organizer, election judge, poll watcher, and volunteer in the coming election. This is where party members can submit ideas for changes to the state platform. At the Caucus, delegates are chosen for the County Assembly held later that day. Assembly delegates poll for candidates for local and state elections. Delegates are chosen for multicounty offices.
Huerfano County Democrats will meet on Saturday, March 9th at 10:00 AM.
Registration begins at 9:00 A.M.
You must be registered as a Democrat by February 16 to be eligible.
All registered Huerfano County Democrats are welcome and encouraged to consider participating.
